The Erin Arts Club Film Group was founded in 2002 with the aim of promoting film as an art form, a medium of information and for education. It also aims to show films that have cultural, technical or artistic merit, and 'revivals' from throughout the history of cinema, which, owing to their age, lack of appeal to the general public or for any other reason, would not normally be available in a commercial cinema. The range covers acclaimed foreign-language films, recent films and many that have been made in the Isle of Man. The Film Society Movement Facilities Refreshments The Erin Arts Centre is very grateful for the support of the Isle of Man Film Commission. |
